Malcolm Mitchell Literacy Partnership
Inspiring a Love of Reading
At the James Solomon Russell – Saint Paul’s College Museum & Archives, we are proud to partner with Malcolm Mitchell and his Share the Magic Foundation to help children discover the power of reading. Our shared goal is to strengthen literacy, inspire imagination, and create lasting educational opportunities for youth in our community.
About Share the Magic Foundation
Founded in 2016, Share the Magic Foundation has been dedicated to transforming children’s lives through literacy. Through its In-School, Virtual, and Community Partner Programs, the foundation ignites a love of reading in thousands of students each year.
Our Shared Goals:
- Increasing Access to Print – Creating access to age-appropriate books nearly triples interest in reading within months.
- Improving Reading Interest – Online reading challenges encourage kids to read in a fun, game-like environment.
- Enhancing Reading Skills – Inspiring children to read more often helps improve grade-level reading achievement.
Our Partnership
The Museum collaborates with the Share the Magic Foundation to promote literacy events, distribute books, and connect students with programs that celebrate the joy of reading. Together, we honor Reverend James Solomon Russell’s legacy of education and empowerment by investing in the next generation of learners.
